Our Story

Mega Musical Chairs started with one wild idea: what if we could turn a childhood game into something powerful? Something that brings people together, celebrates competition, and actually changes lives?

Twelve years later, here we are—still dancing around chairs, still raising money for amazing causes, and still proving that fun and philanthropy can go hand in hand. Hosted by Alpha Epsilon Delta at the University of South Alabama, MMC has become one of the most exciting charity events on campus and in the state.

Every year, 900+ students, alumni, and community members show up to compete in the largest game of musical chairs they’ve ever seen. The winner? They don’t just get bragging rights—they choose the charity that gets 100% of the event proceeds. That’s real impact.

We’ve been featured on FOX 10, AL.com, WKRG, and more, and we’re proud to say we’ve raised over $92,000 for charities both local and global. Along the way, we’ve picked up awards like Student-Driven Program of the Year and Student Organization of the Year—but it’s the smiles, the stories, and the lives changed that keep us going.
